I am now in my foundation year at SVA School of Visual Arts, my perfect ideal school. though foundation year anywhere is not such but i'll roll with it and deal and soon it will be badass shiz yo~!
I applied to only art colleges, 8 of them, and got accepted to all fo sho. RISD, MICA, SVA, MCAD, MassArts, Art Institute of Boston, Uarts, CCA! visited 5 of dem and discovered SVA was perfectly suited for me, so awesome possum. I took a tour and discovered in the illustration major they like fine lines and details, well say it aint so! sign me up. And they're one of the only schools that offer a full comic art/cartooning major which i am so down for having that option, let alone the available electives for me to take
So now i'm in NYC and making beginning art again, haha. And i've just been doing that and random things like reading and such. but now i feel inspired from conversations with classmates to start doing my own damn art work and it is time. but where do i begin? do i go back to my guilty pleasure of manga? or work on another passion and likely future career of children's books? or what?
i don't expect anyone to actually read this or care haha, just felt it was time to write again for myself and hell i'm so hyped on sugar and caffein i've already thrown my back out jumping around my room with video to show it haha
hi lily!
